Helpline
Shree Parmatma Chand Bhandari Charitable Trust (herein after to be referred as Shree PCB Trust) was established in the year 2001 at Jodhpur by a group of local philanthropists from various fields. The mission was to help and uplift the disadvantaged population through way of better health services and enhanced educational and livelihood opportunities. Over the years, the trust found its calling in serving the rural population of Rajasthan specifically through preventive and curative health care services. The trust's name has become synonymous with Mobile Medical Care in Rajasthan.
The trust headed by Dr. Surendra Bhandari, works tirelessly to improve the reach and quality of health care to rural masses by providing them accessible and affordable health services through various grassroot intervention projects, amongst which providing quality eye care also holds a very dominant role considering its impact on the lives and livelihood of the people with compromised vision.
80% of the world's blindness is preventable/treatable if diagnosed and intervened in time. Hence, to reach out to the masses with regular and reliable eye care facilities, the trust started a tertiary eye care hospital in 2004 by the name of Guru Hasti Netra Chikitsalya (GHC) in the rural area of Pipar city located 60 kms from Jodhpur. Under the aegis of GHC, we have undertaken several initiatives to take eye care to rural doorsteps.
The trust has valid 80G, 12A and FCRA certificate.
